Electronic circuit made on a wooden tablet
One of the first circuits made (astable multivibrator) and survived over time. The technique consisted in screwing screws onto a wooden tablet and then wrapping copper wire around it. The screws then became the nodes of the circuit, and the components were soldered between one screw and another thanks to the grip of the tin on the copper wire.

HI,

I’m Silvio, a mechanical engineer, passionate about electronics and physics. Since I was a child I have always been curious and attracted by these topics. I remember like a dream when I had my grandmother take me to the station to watch the passing trains. It was not clear to me how they could move. On the track they’d given me for Christmas, the little car had two contacts, yet that object above the engine touched only one wire. Where was the second?

As I grew older, the questions increased and became more and more complex, but the answers, on the contrary, increasingly simple, and I soon realized that mathematics and imagination could take you where 1000 hours of attempts cannot reach.

I am a faithful follower of the Scientific Method, an open-minded boy, in favor of all that is new, different and original, opposed to conjectures and constraints that limit imagination and creativity.

From this set The Rintincola was born, an professional laboratory for the development of Open Source projects mainly in the field of power electronics. What prompted me to create it is the desire to spread knowledge and material that many pass off as magic and reserved only for a few!!
